Hey there, sorry been so busy with sch work, no time to update..but last friday was a significant day! Cuz i celebrated parents wedding anniversary together with them at mandarin oriental hotel. Good food, nice atmosphere. :) wish i cud dine out like this more often:) And watched the dark knight rises too..it was not bad XD although i dozed off for 1 hour heheh ZZZZ....anyway today is sunday again tmr back to sch...haha never mind looking forward to the day i can go play roller coaster with Kor again:) Fun to have him around to listen to my nonsense all the time hahah..ok i will end here for today...till then see ya...byee...

My world was you. You WERE my world, my everything....Yet i had the audacity and heartlessness to hurt you, your feelings. Hey guys, this post today is specially dedicated to all my friends who have always stood by me and been there for me whenever i needed you guys XD for some of us we have moved on, advanced further in the pursuit of education, hope u are all doing great :) along the way, we meet new people, new friends, but you'll never be forgotten :D Today i would also like to Ask u a question. What is life anyway? Sounds stupid:X But i would really like to know more. What's your definition of happiness? :) recently i met a new friend XD you know who u are :) really a great friend , great listener. Is it happiness that allowed us to meet and become best friends ? I guess so :) in life, people walk in and out of your life. You like some, you detest some. Is that how conflict usually happens ? :( recently, people have been entering my life, and someone has also left my life. I guess u all alrdy know. I guess its just fated... Will there ever be a person who would stay by me throughout my entire life? :) we all dislike our loved ones leaving us, but someone once told me, it is part and parcel of life to meet and part. The people u meet are like the "checkpoints" in your life. Every person u meet shares a different story and relationship with you. After we have passed the final checkpoint, we would have reached the finishing line:) and that's only if happy ever after did exist ^^ hope you dont mind this bullshit post XD just having random thoughts today haha:P later gonna have chinese A LEVEL listening compre. Homelessness is an inevitable feature in your society. How far do u agree?

In the context of singapore , homelessness is not something common, due to the highly developed and advanced nature of our society . Although most singaporeans are relatively well off and relish a reasonable standard of living, there is still a minority group which is disavantaged and left to fend for themselves , given the fact that they are NOT the movers of societal progress. Nevertheless, we should not discriminate against these people, or deem them as the black sheep of singapore. Instead, i feel that it is our great responsibility to take the initiative and lend a hand to the less fortunate. Homelessness is indeed inevitable in my opinion, because regardless of how rich a country may be , there tends to be a few lagging behind. Given the intense rat race and hectic fast paced life in singapore , the working population is under tremendous amount of stress, faced from work and from home. Lovong expenses are also sky rocketing day by day, forcing children to resort to abandoning their elderly parents for the sake of saving trouble and money. How ungrateful can this be? Many of you moght be wondering, however you'll never really know until u are in their shoes . Will you take care of them forever? :)

Seeing is believing...?

Is the world really what it seems to be? Is seeing believing?

Recently, I just received my mid year exam results slip. It was terrible, way beyond what i thought i would ever be. I slumped into the mire of stupidity which i never imagined i would ever be. In that zone. The zone out lane. Where you are left alone and stuck and everyone's moving forward except you. Thankfully, for this teacher of mine, Mr Tan, he has encouraged me to pick myself up, and carry on walking, crawling , running anything i can do to get to the promos and realize my dreams. To all out there, seeing IS NOT believing. You have to investigate deeper because behind every surface of a story, there is always another side to it. So, please, do not be disillusioned with the fact that, everything u see is the truth. OK.thanks.supposed to be studying, why the hell am i posting this manz...anyways see ya soon^^

Mankind is cancer upon the Earth. Is this a fair assessment of mankind’s influence on the environment?

 According to Al Gore, ” The struggle to save global environment is one way much more difficult than the struggle to vanquish Hitler, for this time the war is within ourselves. We are the enemy, just as we have only ourselves as allies.” In this case, when the Earth is diagnosed with cancer, it is said to be weakened by a parasite – humans, feeding off its host, in order to ensure continued proliferation of its kind, whilst at the same time deteriorating the latter’s condition till he dies off. The characteristics of humans are all too similar to the effects of cancer, sucking out Earth’s resources for survival and advancement of civilizations and its economic edifice. As such, mankind activities are often perceived to be the main cause of destruction on Earth, and demanding more benefits out of it. However, it is unfair to assume that mankind is entirely at fault for the deteriorating condition of the Earth, as scientists have engaged in numerous research, such as creating green technology to reverse the harmful effects accumulated on Earth over the years, which were mostly futile or progressing too slowly. Therefore, it is fair, to a large extent, to blame humans for destroying Earth. Firstly, humans are driven by their desires to advance and progress, at the expense of the Earth. One example would be mass deforestation which is rampant in most developed countries, to pave way for urbanization and infrastructures. Secondly, the consumerist culture of mankind drives people to swallow natural sources such as coal and oil, to supply industries, while these resources and finite and depleting at an alarming rate. Lastly, the worldwide efforts to eliminate world destruction, such as the Copenhagen Summit and the Kyoto protocol are insufficient in eradicating these problems that engulf the Earth, as they are not legally binded, hence, most countries do not see the need to be responsible for the well-being of the Earth. Therefore, it is largely justifiable to say that mankind is indeed a cancer upon the Earth.
